November 2008 Newsletter

Just a quick note this month – with dates for your diary and news of the club results from the Winter Festival of Champions.
Well done to everyone who took the time to represent the club –here are the results we are aware of at the time of writing the newsletter:
- Kelsie Gibson – 1st Ridden Showing
- Hollie Patterson – 3rd Shetland I/H
- Heidi Patterson – 2nd M&M Large I/H
- Kate Hollingworth – 2nd Senior Equitation & 6th Ridden Part Bred Arab.
If anyone else has any other results please let us have them for the next newsletter!
14th December 08 – Xmas Colouring Competition – something ‘fun’ a picture is enclosed with this newsletter for you to put your artistic skills to the test! Prizes & rosettes up for grabs! Split into 3 age groups – up to 10yrs, 11-16yrs and oldies (17+). So roll up your sleeves and send your entries to SDRC c/o 32 Griffe Road, Wyke, Bradford BD12 9JU
28th December 08 – Children’s Christmas Show at Cheesecake Farm
Schedule enclosed, please pass this on or pin it on your yard if you (like me!) are too elderly and infirm to be able to take part in this one!!!!
- 6th January 09 – SDRC Xmas Photo Show – schedule enclosed.
- 22nd February 09 – SDRC Dressage at Royds Hall, Woodside (Outdoor Arena) Schedules and more info will be sent out after Christmas. (Other dates, hopefully, to be added!)
- 5th April 09 – Easter In Hand Show at Cheesecake Farm
- 10th May 09 – 1st Points Show at the show field
- 25th May 09 – Annual Show at the show field
- 14th June 09 - 2nd Points Show at the show field
- 12th July 09 – 3rd Points Show at the show field
- 16th August 09 – Trophy Show on the show field
- 13th Sept 09 – Charity Show on the show field (charity to be decided)
