Wowzers!
Ok! So someone tell me where this year has gone??? We’ve our last show of the season fast approaching………but lots of other things in the pipeline….so read on!
The Ultimate & Horse Parade Championships
Well done to everyone who made the trip to Harrogate to compete at this years USOC and those who went to Doncaster for the NEC Champs. We had some really good results – so well done all!
2011 Charity Show
Your schedule is attached/ enclosed and we hope lots of you come along to support this years charities – Diabetes UK and World Horse Welfare – so get the date in your diary Sunday 11th September. Big thanks to our sponsors.
Horsey Car Boot Sale
The 25th September between 10am and 12pm. Entry is free for shoppers and £5.00 for a car or £10.00 for a van/trailer for sellers. Sellers can set up from 9.30am (not before) and no buyers before 10am please. Venue- Laura Brenan Equestrian Centre .Brighouse Denholme Gate Road Northowram Halifax

Sunday Afternoon Dressage
Our dressage is moving from mid-week evenings to Sundays now the nights are drawing in and the first one is Sunday 25th September – 1st test at 1pm – once again at Royds Hall, Low Moor. Our invited judge is Ms A Lumb from Huddersfield. The schedule is enclosed and entries will be taken on a 1st come basis should the event become over subscribed.
SDRC at Craven
Anyone up for some company on a rumble around the cross country or a pleasant off road ride – well Sunday 2nd October were going to Craven Country Ride. The price is £25 for Adults and £20 for Children. As a group booking in addition to the regular hot drink + cookies were being provided with home made soup and bread. If you wish to partake of the group booking we require a £5 non-refundable deposit by 25th September any non-riders wanting the soup/roll can be catered for at £2.50 per person (to be paid with the rider deposit so we can advise for catering)
Craven Transport
Obviously, it’s a case of making your own way to & from the venue. However, we also understand that not everyone has their own transport, therefore if anyone has a spare place in their lorry or trailer and is happy to take another with them, then please let us know so we can put you in touch with someone who needs a lift – you can then come to your own arrangements!
October Dressage
Will be Sunday 23rd October – again at Royds Hall – schedule will be out nearer the time.
Annual General Meeting
Yep its that time of year again when we all get together and decide what goes on in 2012. Maybe you have some ideas or views you’d like to share or maybe you’d like to join the committee. The date is Tuesday 25th October at The Shoulder of Mutton, Northowram 7.30pm – we hope as many of you as possible will come along.
Fancy Dress Halloween Presentation Evening
Well the name says it all!! Saturday October 29th at The Raggalds, Queensbury !
Tickets will be on sale from the 11th September and they are £10 each with a maximum of 3 per member until the end of September. More may be available after this date but we sold out really quick last year, so I’d recommend getting yours early.

Trophies
Please remember that Points Trophies need to be returned to us by the 30th September – if you don’t return your trophies, we can’t give you your deposits back.
