Whoop!!! The points shows are all ‘in the bag!’ and apart from almost being blown off the field at the 3rd show we didn’t do too bad for the weather. Points will be on the website shortly – please double check and let us know any queries by the15th August – as then were going to pick & order the awards for the presentation night and once ordered we won’t be able to alter placings!
Just a few reminders – help required on the Saturday before shows a 3pm to set up the show ground (any help packing up on show days is also greatly appreciated!)
Hard hats to be worn at all times by juniors & seniors when mounted and in-hand by juniors when on the show ground – they are also strongly recommended for adults in hand!
Long sleeves should be worn at all times when mounted on the show ground – vest tops/sun tops are not suitable attire.

Help For Heroes Show - Sponsorship form enclosed – please try to obtain a sponsor for this show! As the advert says ‘every little helps!’
Plans under way for an end of season show (including dressage + gymkhanas) and a Treasure Hunt once again with Shibden & District Bridleways – more details as soon as everything is finalised!
Important news (especially for those in the Wyke/High Fearnley/Norwood Green areas) – at a recent Norwood Green residents meeting there were murmurings about Sowden Lane only being a footpath! This is the route that leads from Norwood Green into the woods to the bridge at the bottom (Judy Woods). There is an evidence form and more details on www.sibdenanddistrict.co.uk . Anyone who does/or has ever used this route needs to complete the form and return it as we don’t want these residents to block this route. We will also have some forms at the Trophy Show if anyone has time to complete one on the show day and we will send them in!
